*Eucharistic Procession

To prepare for the closing of the Perpetual Adoration Chapel at Ste. Genevieve Catholic Church during the Easter Triduum, a Eucharistic Procession was held on Wednesday afternoon, March 28th.

Pastor Father Nemeth carried the monstrance from the Chapel to the Church assisted by Associate Pastor Fr. Greg Klump, Deacon Jim Robert, servers, parishioners, and students from Valle Catholic School.

Sundown on Holy Thursday to sundown on Easter Sunday is considered the most solemn part of the liturgical year. This three-day period is referred to as the Easter Triduum.

It begins with the evening Mass of the Lord’s Supper, reaches its high point in the Easter Vigil, and closes with evening prayer on Easter Sunday. The Easter Triduum memorializes the suffering, death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
