Members of Valle Catholic High School’s Class of 2016 received their rings during a special Mass held on Thursday, April 9, 2015 at the Church of Ste. Genevieve. Celebrant was Associate Pastor Father Greg Klump. Rings were presented by Valle principal, Dr. Mark Gilligan. After Mass a reception was held in the DuBourg Centre for the juniors and their families.
The ring presentation is symbolic of the students’ future roles as leaders of Valle Catholic High School.
The students are encouraged “to view their rings as symbols of their Christian identity and all that Valle stands for.” The ring is also a reminder that they will always belong and be a part of the Valle family. The rings were blessed and presented to each student.
