Valle Catholic Sophomore, Benjamin Roth recently returned from the 81st annual Sophomore Pilgrimage in Jefferson City sponsored by the General Federation of Women’s Clubs of Missouri.
A sophomore from each Missouri high school is nominated by either the guidance counselor, social studies faculty or the student body, and selection is based on citizenship, scholarship and leadership. Benjamin and his fellow sophomores observed the legislature in session; toured the Capitol, Governor’s Mansion and Supreme Court building; and met state legislators. They also attended a luncheon at First United Methodist Church.
