Saturday March 3 several members of the Valle Catholic band competed in the East Central Missouri District solo and ensemble Festival.
The Brass Quartet made up of Tommy Otte, Gage Heil, Caleb Hoog and Kyle Steiger earned a 2 (Outstanding) Rating.
Claire McDowell – Baritone Solo earned a 2 (Outstanding) rating and the
Brass Quintet made up of Tommy Otte, Mary Roth, Josh Hoog, Caleb Hoog and Claire McDowell earned a 3 (Satisfactory) rating.

Valle Catholic had three of their band students selected to the MAAA Middle School Honors Band in March. Justin Basler – Trumpet, Jacob Calbreath – Tenor Sax, and Peter Roth – Baritone joined 110 other band students of the Mineral Area to represent the top 10% of the band students in their school. The band along with the MAAA Honors Choir presented a concert at Central High School on March 6th under the direction of Linda Huck, retired director of Farmington Bands.
