Valle Catholic held their spring field day on Friday, May 11th at Father John Dempsey Field.
Following the Mother’s Day Mass and helium balloon rosary, Grades K-2 traveled on buses and students in Grades 3-8 walked to the field.
Students were divided into three groups: Grades K-2, 3-5, 6-8 and competed in a variety of games of skill and fun.
Games included obstacle course, soccer, limbo, long jump, parachute games, hula hoop fun, tug-of-war, water games. and traditional relays among others.
The fun day also included the students enjoying a visit from the Kona Ice Lady (aka 1st Grade teacher, Mrs. Mary Joggerst) and assisted by 8th Grade teacher, Mrs. Jan Weiler.
