The Valle Catholic High School Scholar Bowl team took second place at Bloomfield on April 14th 2018 in the Class 2 District 2 Scholar Bowl competition. All District honors went to Tommy Otte and Bryce Palmer, who received individual medals for correctly answering a large number of questions.
The VCHS team record was 2-1 in preliminary rounds. They defeated Bismarck in the semi-finals to advance to the final round, in which they lost to Bloomfield.
