During Lent students participated with their classmates praying the Stations of the Cross, a traditional devotional prayer that helps us recall the tremendous love of Jesus Christ as He suffered and died for our salvation. The Way of the Cross can help children apply His courage and sacrifice to their own lives.
On the Friday before Holy Week, the entire grade school gathered in church for the Stations. Father Nemeth, along with 3 servers walked along each station as 8th Graders announced the story of the walk Jesus took to his death on Good Friday.
